I wanted to build on my last review since I actually had dinner this time and I had a great experience. First and foremost we had great service from Mark and I highly recommend him for anyone who's coming. It was super busy but he was attentive enough that we felt we were his only table (hard to do when you're as swamped as he was). We really enjoyed the Sweet & Sour Calamari (7.5/10) and Mark even took it upon himself to put the sauce on the side for us as opposed to on the calamari (it's the little things). My wife got the Octopus which was decent (7/10) and I got the Stuffed Flounder (7.5/10) with spinach and mashed potatoes that were a really good compliment to the fish. I could tell there was a lot of corporate holiday dinners inside which made it a bit louder than it probably is on a Tuesday but that didn't impact our meal much. Looking forward to going back and hopefully getting Mark again, he was great!

Made a 5:00 reservation on a Friday night for a party of 2. We were seated in the back of the restaurant close to the kitchen. This wouldn't have been a problem except I could clearly hear personal conversations amongst staff. I would have preferred a different table since the restaurant was less than half full and it kind of takes you out the element when you hear employees cursing and cackling behind you. The service itself was okay. They were efficient and checked in frequently. The portions are huge and they made sure the courses were paced nicely and packed away as needed during the meal. Cuzin's decor is trendy and sleek. The music didn't really fit the vibe. The reason everyone told me to go here is for the food and that is why I give Cuzin's 4 stars. The food from apps to dessert were delicious. I recommend the calamari and crab cakes to start, fradiavolo for a main, and the cheesecake crème brûlée for dessert. The cocktails were very nice as well. The restaurant gives you a little after dinner shot on the house I guess if you spend a certain amount or something. Not really sure, but it was a nice touch.

Always a great meal at Cuzin's! We came here for our anniversary. New Brunswick is always crappy with parking especially when the lots across the way is full, garage is full, etc. it was a busy Saturday night so reservations come in handy! Ambience is nice, we brought our baby but obviously it's not the most family friendly place, so that's our bad but we had no sitter but they were still very accommodating. The lobster dumplings tasted like crab Rangoon filling.

Met up with two friends on a Friday for a girls night dinner. The service was great. Server was very friendly and attentive yet not overbearing. The server helped with menu choices and gave great recommendations. We ordered lychee martinis which were good. We shared appetizers- crispy shrimp and dumplings- which were very good. We each ordered different entrees. I ordered the stuffed flounder, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The dish was good, but not great. I tasted the other two dishes and I found the fried fish to be the best of the three. This is a great place to meet up with friends or to do a date night. Check it out if you haven't already!

After wanting to try Cuzin's for a while, I got my chance! I went out to dinner with a group of 9 on a Saturday night. They were quite accommodating since they accepted our group almost within an hour of closing. Our waitress was great. We placed our orders and received our food in a mostly timely fashion. I had the Little Boy Blue cocktail. This is a whiskey-based drink and I loved it. For dinner, I went with the stuffed flounder which was stuffed with crabmeat. It was served with a lemon caper sauce. Spinach and mashed potatoes were the side dishes that came with it. I ended up sharing a dessert because I was too full. I had the vanilla creme brulee, which was tasty and not too heavy. Overall, I give the experience 4.5 stars.

Tonight, I had the pleasure of coming to NJ to celebrate my birthday with a friend and I want to take the time out to specially thank & praise TAYLOR, our waiter of the evening, for such an amazing experience. We had the pleasure of her exceptional service, her energetic energy and overall enthusiasm and attention to the menu that she could answer questions being that the menu had JUST changed a couple days prior. I was then surprised with a birthday dessert that brought me to tears... literally. I want to also thank everyone who came to sing & make me feel so special. This beautiful restaurant will now my favorite place to come when visiting. If you're contemplating on going... GO!

I've dined at the other Cuzin's in Marlboro, but tried this location tonight and am happy to report that this one wins! The quality at Cuzin's is always there, but it comes at a cost. Everything was on the pricey side. My favorite dish of the night was the butternut squash alfredo with lump crab meat special. It was sweeeeeet like candy and I LOVED that. My shrimp with fettuccine was also very tasty. Service was much quicker than the Marlboro location. It was BUSTLING! Pretty loud in the restaurant which made it hard to have a conversation. But if you like a livelier atmosphere, this the place! FYI, there's free parking at the Hyatt around the corner. Cuzin's will verify your parking before you leave the restaurant.

I stayed at a hotel across the street from Cuzins and decided to give them a try. Although they were hosting a private party on the upper level and had no seating available, they were able to accommodate us on the lower level. It seems like reservations are the best way to go for this restaurant. Our server, Mark, was super nice. He reviewed the menu with us and gave us plenty of time to decide. I ordered a lemon drop with tequila instead of vodka, and the shrimp parmigiana with white sauce instead of red. The food arrived in a reasonable time, and it was delicious! The restaurant was quite busy for a Tuesday night. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely return and recommend it.
